Language of War on Life

International Literacy Day was on September 8th, at which time UNESCO spotlit literacy “as a lever for empowerment and transformation to build more inclusive, just and sustainable societies.” They also celebrated progress in literacy at the global, regional, national and local levels. This is the language of war, and we can see this in many Minnesota school districts, like SoWashCo Schools, who are proudly forming local education policy based on UNESCO’s definition of literacy. I understand why the globalists at UNESCO are celebrating, but why SoWashCo? UNESCO intends to achieve lasting world peace by targeting the mind (intellect) and soul (morality) of children through education, science and culture. Our locally elected school board was hired to represent local residents though, not the world. The mind and soul of my child is not the state’s property. In 2024, SoWashCo Schools began a campaign called, “Literacy Is Everywhere,” but literacy is not everywhere. Literacy is, in fact, nowhere to be found in the English language prior to the 1880’s when humanist (Atheist) activists like Mann dreamed up their socialist mass public education utopia. We know the intent was to starve the church her influence over moral absolutes in America, and yet in 1959, UN Secretary General Dag Hammarskjold said, “The ancient dream of mankind, reflected in the words of Isaiah…is the dream inspiring also the Charter.” Is the UN really inspired by Isaiah? or do they see themselves as part of his prophetic fulfillment?
The language of war on life is sneaky, and it is being fought not with sword and spear but with false word and tongue. The origins of this war run as deep as your soul and trace all the way back to original sin. “There is no peace,” says the Lord, “for the wicked.” (Isaiah 48:22). Luke’s angelic announcement of peace on earth, goodwill toward men (Luke 2:14) is for those with whom God is pleased. It is a peace rooted in God’s love and salvation, not a universal end to all conflict.

The Sword of the Spirit

"The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established as the highest of the mountains, and shall be lifted up above the hills; and all the nations shall flow to it, and many peoples shall come, and say: 'Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.' For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. He shall judge between the nations, and shall decide disputes for many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore. O house of Jacob, come, let us walk in the light of the Lord."

In Language of War on Death, I explain that the Sword of the Spirit is the word of God. Many people think of Satan when they think of Spiritual warfare, but correctly ordered it is actually God’s domain. God is above all battlefields, and the Book of Isaiah is the perfect example why those who are wise will
FEAR THE LORD.

War, Peace & Order

The Art of War was written in about 500 BC by the Chinese general, military strategist, philosopher and author Sun Tzu (or so many scholars believe). I read this book ten months ago, and it was one of two original inspiration pieces for The Language of War. The second piece of inspiration was Joshua’s chapter on the fall of Jericho (Joshua 6) which I wrote about in The Language of War on Death

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself, but not the enemy, for every victory gained suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I have to be careful when I’m reading the Taoist version of peace because it is a blend of many truths that reach no higher than the center of ones self instinct, heart, and gut. If I compare and contrast this war strategy with the Armor of God described in Ephesians 6:11-18 though, I can learn quite a bit about spiritual warfare from its human counterpart.
The Art of War is the oldest military treatise in the world, and has impacted more than 2,000 years of strategy among warring nations. Sun Tzu is said to have advanced military preparedness in maintaining peace and order. These two words caught my attention at the time, and I thought this book might be a good formula to begin my series. The Holy Spirit corrected me though, and through various spiritual battles of my own in September I came out the other side with a reverent understanding of worship as the most powerful armor of warfare we can possibly put on.

Local & Global

UNITED AS ONE

Literacy defined by

UNESCO

"Beyond its conventional concept as a set of reading, writing and counting skills, literacy is now understood as a means of identification, understanding, interpretation, creation, and communication in an increasingly digital, text-mediated, information-rich and fast-changing world. Literacy is a continuum of learning and proficiency in reading, writing and using numbers throughout life and is part of a larger set of skills, which include digital skills, media literacy, education for sustainable development and global citizenship as well as job-specific skills."

Literacy defined by

SoWashCo

"The definition of literacy we use with our educators in SoWashCo is the following: Literacy is now understood as a means of identification, understanding, interpretation, creation, and communication in an increasingly digital, text-mediated, information-rich, and fast-changing world. This definition of literacy is wholly applicable to all content areas in schools and all experiences in life."

Notice how this local school district defines their literacy education standards word-for-word after the United Nations…

South Washington County School District 833 says
“LITERACY IS EVERYWHERE”

This is a false statement.

literacy is NOT everywhere

The word “literacy” is nowhere to be found in Webster’s 1828 Dictionary or any dictionary prior to the 1880’s. This is because “literacy” was not invented until the socialist mass public education “utopia” was being drafted by humanist (Atheist) thinkers. Interestingly, just before literacy became a word, Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels wrote their Communist Manifesto in 1847.
“Literacy” takes from the root word “literate” (a 15th century invention), which is about word and letter recognition. To teach someone to be literate is to teach them the discrete skill of reading and writing phonetically, which is in keeping with the origin of word, “word.” The letter of a word is not merely some random visual marker on a page. The letter is a mark that represents a sound or an articulation of the human organs of speech.
By inventing the word “literacy” and defining it more broadly as a social practice, rather than a discrete skill, Horace Mann turned words into a visual practice (look-and-see) rather than a spoken practice of the tongue and mouth (phonics). This is important to know because the eye is the entrance to the heart and mind. They provide a doorway to our very souls. Read the article I wrote about learning disabilities and the Whole-Word Method at The Whole Child.
After World War II, Germany formed the United Nations, and Literacy was the perfect tool for marketing globalized education to the world.

The United Nations

UNESCO says their core mission is to “build lasting peace through education, science, and communication”. To learn more about the mission and vision of UNESCO, watch their Facebook reel HERE.

"UNESCO has been working to realize the vision of literacy for all since 1946 in the belief that acquiring and improving literacy skills throughout life is an intrinsic part of the right to education and brings with it huge empowerment and benefits."

In other words, if you were wondering like me why all the quality classic literature in SoWashCo has been replaced by modern garbage, this is why. The vision of literacy is no longer the means to produce a literate society whereby word and letter recognition is imperative to “success”. Our children are labeled a success from the first day they enter Kindergarten (Read the article I wrote, The Pit of Fake Success), and they are given books to read in school that address the broader social and cultural appetite of globalists.

The Garden at UN Headquarters
in New York

For some reason there is a desire to link notions of progressive world government to Isaiah. I’ll have to study up on that notion more because I haven’t quite grasped the reason.

"Let Us Beat Swords Into Plowshares"

Written in the first person on the statue’s plinth is the phrase, “We Shall Beat Our Swords into Plowshares.” This is in reference to what Isaiah prophesies about the coming Messaiah. The difference is that Isaiah wrote in the third person (“They shall…”)
Fourteen years after the organization was founded, in his written remarks for the ceremony in 1959 accepting this statue (one of the Soviet’s gifts), UN Secretary General Dag Hammarskjold said “The ancient dream of mankind, reflected in the words of Isaiah…is the dream inspiring also the Charter.”
John Louth notices, “By moving from Isaiah’s third person to the first person the UN becomes not just inspired by Isaiah as per Hammarskjold’s remarks but sees itself as parts of its fulfillment.”
Isaiah’s Echo: Progress, Prophecy, and the UN Charter by John Louth
Let us not beat our swords into plowshares just yet unless you believe that the UN has the power to replace God and fulfill the biblical prophesy of Isaiah by the mighty fist of man.
If you know the Bible Story, then you recognize the Sword and the Plowshare for what they represent. We are not there yet. If you know the Bible Story, then you understand how this story ends. It does not end well for those living a life of illusion… for those staring into the water at their own reflection… for those who float like a bog on a lake between gods.
No, for the Goliathan people of this world, their stories do not end well.

David & Goliath

The governor of Minnesota laid out a roadmap for transformational change in education that seeks to break down barriers. Read The United Center to see how the public school director of DEI in District 833 defines these barriers as “inequitable and oppressive systems, laws and structures” because in the same article you will see how the public school students in District 833 define the oppressor to be this:
dominant, straight, male, white, upper class, Christian, of European descent.
This upside down way of labeling oppressor and oppressed is the Language of War on Life.
These state governing authorities who call evil good and good evil do not recognize that their efforts are the way of vanity. They do not know the God who formed them, named them, and gave them their power, and yet it is He who uses them now as instruments to subdue this nation and bring it’s people to repentance before the mighty hand of God.
It is easy to see through the fake walls of this fortress. The nuclear family unit is most certainly the obstacle standing in MDE’s way to attaining their globalist goals. The Christian family home is in Goliath’s crosshairs. His army is fit with weapons of war to take down each little house. His sword has been drawn for a long time. His shield is firmly seated in place. His helmet is on, his boot straps are laced, his breast plate is secured and his belt buckle is fastened.
What chance of survival does the lone little family stand against industrial giants like MDE and UNESCO? Alone, they stand no chance. This family will be destroyed.
However, with the Word of God on your mind, heart and tongue, your family will recognize the immense value of your worth. You are precious. This enemy Goliath was slain long ago. His threats only work if you believe in him.
Do not give him that power.
Fear the Lord. Trust in God. Turn to Jesus.

QUESTION:

What is peace?

ANALYSIS:

I know that life and peace is possible by setting my mind on the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:6). FAITH comes from hearing the sound of the Gospel of Peace spoken by the mouth of disciples who are ready to ACT with their feet and walk into enemy territory preaching the word of Christ to non-believers (Romans 10:17).
I know that “since we have been justified by FAITH, we have PEACE with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1).

ANSWER:

I know that PEACE is Jesus and that Jesus is the Prince of Peace.

"How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, "Your God reigns."

Making Straight Paths

For a long time, I was waking up in the middle of the night with this urgent sense that the ground was shaking. The earth and all her beasts, mountains and flowers of the field seemed to be responding as if to the birth of something unimaginably large were in utero. It’s as if God was waking up his army. Did you feel it? This energy in the atmosphere around the turning of the season… this static, this call is as if a slumbering army were being shaken awake into line… into formation.

This Little SCHOOL+HOUSE

In 2020, the Governor’s Education Roundtable put together A Roadmap for Transformational Change in Minnesota Education that says, “We need to mobilize all of us – not just teachers and students – to nurture assets and DISMANTLE BARRIERS so every student and their family has all Minnesotans supporting their academic and personal growth.”

On the other hand, Kelly Smith, Founder of Prenda, says his micro-schools are “BREAKING DOWN BARRIERS that will make it easier for people to start their own schools.” Meanwhile, One Stone, a school with no teachers, no tests and no grades, says they are “BREAKING DOWN the one-size-fits-all nature of a conventional classroom.”

As you can see, there are a lot of proverbial BARRIERS BEING BROKEN DOWN these days, and they appear to be at war with one another. G.K. Chesterton said, “Whenever you remove any fence, always pause long enough to ask why it was put there in the first place.” Wise advice from a wise man.

My question is, which SCHOOL+HOUSE is able to BUILD UP? Anyone can break down in a world ruled by the laws of gravity. Whether good or evil , real or fake – anyone can destroy – but only REAL things grow while under this sun … only REAL is granted authority to build upward … only REAL has the soft heart needed for love … only REAL is able to truly hear His story (history) spoken  … and only REAL is able to truly see the Word written into the fabric of creation.

This Little School+House will pair with the “Borders and Boundaries” series of 2025 in exploring the question, “What is education, actually?”
