God-Sized Peace

by Jaime Kokaisel

How big IS my God? What is it that defines His perimeter? If I were to draw God’s kingdom onto a map, where inside or outside the universe does Infinity dwell? In power, presence and knowledge, what is the core of Eternity? Where is He in relation to the galaxy? Just how big, just how strong, just how present is my God that the earth should orbit His sun? Just how big, just how strong, just how present is my God that the ocean should bow down to His majesty? Just how big, just how strong, just how present is my God that His love should blanket the earth? Consider the blueprint of creation. What is man? Those in the state of Minnesota who promote centers of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, suggest Gods LAW and LOVE are “fruitless folly.” This should be no surprise. We live in the kingdom of darkness. Yet God is to mankind as the sun is to the earth. All eat by it, sleep by it, grow by it, see by it, live by it, reproduce by it, die by it… All. THIS IS LAW. THIS IS LOVE. THIS IS GOD.
Consider the blueprint of creation.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.

God-Sized Peace is intended to help bridge the gap between Peace With God and Peace With Self. My inspiration comes from the many scriptural references to holy predestination, calling and election. I was also inspired by the launch of Artemis II in Florida this past April as it stood juxtaposed on it’s launch site to the mighty Atlantic Ocean. Which is more powerful? God’s ocean Atlantic, or man’s spacecraft Orion?

Space Launch

APRIL 2026

On April 1st, 2026 the crew of Artemis II was launched into outer space to orbit the earth’s moon. It just so happens I was in Florida, fifteen miles down the beach from Cape Canaveral, at the same time. We honestly had no idea this was scheduled to happen during our two night stay in Melbourne, but it was perfect timing for as I was writing The Story of Peace With God here was NASA launching their SLS rocket and Orion spacecraft into outer space. Amazing!
This vacation, which was intended as a college visit for my daughter, turned out to be yet another answered prayer from my big God. Experiencing the Artemis II launch has been a guiding star to my work Make Straight Paths, and I am so excited to share His Big SCHOOL+HOUSE in This Little SCHOOL+HOUSE at Jaime for Schools.

ARTEMIS II

Photo I took of the Artemis II launch on April 1st, 2026 from Canova Beach in Melbourne, Florida
The mission of Artemis II set a new record for furthest distance away from Earth humans have ever traveled. Upon completing a flyby around the far side of the Moon in April, astronauts were roughly 252,756 miles away from Earth physically. This is a remarkable milestone for mankind, and one we should definitely celebrate together, but as I consider God-sized peace, I cannot help thinking how small a pin prick this is on the map of our known universe. It is microscopic.
If man has traveled but a pin prick on the map of the universe, how far has our technology traveled? Has any human-made instrument left the boundary of our Solar System? I was surprised to learn that earlier this year, Voyager 1 approached approximately 16 billion miles from the Sun and has left the Sun’s Solar System. It is currently on track to reach a distance of one full light-day away from the Earth this November! Once again though, even this is a pin prick in relation to the entire Galaxy.

Foundation of the world

Consider the Earth’s Solar System.
The “foundation of the world” is a reference to God’s act of creation. Is it really possible that this entire system of planets, moons and stars was created just for us? “For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.” (Romans 8:29)
How beautiful is the interwoven LAW and LOVE of my big God.

THE SOLAR SYSTEM IS TO ME IS AS THE BURNING BUSH WAS TO MOSES!
HOLY GROUND

THIS IS LAW. THIS IS LOVE. THIS IS GOD.

GOD IS INFINITE

ALL-KNOWING, ALL-POWERFUL, ALL-PRESENT

It is impossible to draw a picture of my infinite God because He has no perimeter. The universe is filled with fringe upon fringe upon fringe upon fringe, like the concentric circles of a tree trunk. There is no end to the universe, and there is no end to God.
As large as is the foundation of our Solar System, it is held within an even larger foundation. Our Sun and planets orbit in circles around the Galaxy’s core which probably orbits around another core and another and another, into infinity. The foundation of the world God prepared in advance for those predestined to be called sons of God is much larger than the finite mind can comprehend. There are an infinite number more galaxies out there.
We simply cannot fathom the immense size of our God.
Computerized rendering of the Milky Way Galaxy.

How big is my God?

GREATER THAN THE SIZE OF A GALAXY

We live in the Milky Way Galaxy, which is a collection of stars, gas, dust, and a supermassive black hole at its very center. Remember though, this self-portrait is merely an educated guess. No human-made tech has made it this far to capture and transmit a self-portrait back to Earth. Though this may look like a real photograph, it is really a fake rendering based on what we see from within.
The Sun of our Solar System is a minuscule little speck of dust in the big picture.

God is law

Consider the Milky Way Galaxy of Stars.
Our Galaxy is a spiral galaxy. It is a rotating disk that is flat with a bulge in the middle that consists of mostly old stars. This graphic actually reminds me of that spinning whirlpool I mentioned in the series introduction to Make Straight Paths. God is good though, so the natural circles in creation reveal the goodness of His character. It’s fascinating to contemplate the mystery of that bright inner core where it appears stars are created, and under extreme pressure at that.
The Lord refers to heaven as his throne and to the earth as his footstool. God says this in Isaiah 66:1 and Jesus says this in Matthew 5:35. The metaphor of a footstool helps us to comprehend how big God is by comparison to man. If our entire planet is nothing but a footstool to our Creator, how small must we be in the big picture?
God’s kingdom is not of this world (John 18:36). This was Jesus’ answer to Pilot on the morning he was crucified. He spoke creation into being and sustains the existence of the universe. “For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm.” (Psalm 33:9). Only a Creator that is bigger than His creation can do this, which means God’s kingdom originates from outside, not inside, the universe.

THIS IS LAW. THIS IS LOVE. THIS IS GOD.

How powerful is my God?

STRONGER THAN THE GRAVITY OF A SUN

The gravitational pull of our Sun is so powerful that it holds the planets into orbit around itself. The earth’s sun provides the energy needed for plants to grow thus producing the oxygen we breathe. The Sun’s heat creates the ideal temperature for liquid water to exist which is a fundamental requirement for life. The Sun also establishes days, seasons, and years – which is a measure of time.

God is light

Consider the Sun’s Photosphere.
If “God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.” (1 John 1:5) then God’s power is similar to that of the Sun he created for His Garden of Eden on Earth. The biggest difference, of course, is that God is invisible and the Sun is visible.
Astrologists call the visible “surface,” or lowest layer of the Sun’s atmosphere, the photosphere. The photosphere is the “visible surface of the Sun from which is emitted most of the Sun’s light that reaches Earth directly. Since the Sun is so far away, the edge of the photosphere appears sharp to the naked eye, but in reality the Sun has no surface, since it is too hot for matter to exist in anything but a plasma state—that is, as a gas composed of ionized atoms.Scientists consider the “surface” of the Sun to be the region above which most photons (the quantum carriers of light energy) escape. The photosphere is thus a layer some 400 km (250 miles) thick.” ( https://www.britannica.com/science/corona-Sun )

How magestic is my God?

THE NAME ABOVE EVERY NAME

God is Sovereign

Consider the Ocean’s Response to the Moon.
All creation worships the Lord!

O Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory above the heavens.

Out of the mouth of babies and infants,
you have established strength because of your foes,
to still the enemy and the avenger.

When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
what is man that you are mindful of him,
and the son of man that you care for him?

Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings
and crowned him with glory and honor.
You have given him dominion over the works of your hands;
you have put all things under his feet,
all sheep and oxen,
and also the beasts of the field,
the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea,
whatever passes along the paths of the seas.

O Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!

Psalm 8 of David

“Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:9-11)

THIS IS LAW. THIS IS LOVE. THIS IS GOD.

Ground-plan Of The Temple Of Solomon, 1890 (by Print Collector. Click on image link.)

How good is my God?

MORE RIGHTEOUS THAN MOSES

God is holy

Consider the Blueprint of God’s Temple.
The dimensions of the tabernacle and the temple give us a picture of reality, that is of heaven on earth. The holy of holies in Solomon’s Temple, for instance, is said to be a copy of the heavenly realm (Hebrews 9).
In their sacrificial duties, the priests “serve a copy and shadow of the heavenly things. For when Moses was about to erect the tent, he was instructed by God, saying, ‘See that you make everything according to the pattern that was shown you on the mountain.’ “ (Hebrews 8:5)
I imagine the outer walls of the temple represent a vessel of correct proportion to hold the remnant able to enter through the narrow door in the New Jerusalem. “And people will come from east and west, and from north and south, and recline at table in the kingdom of God” (Luke 13:29). The wrongdoers will be cast out beyond the outer gates where there will be “weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Luke 13:28).

THIS IS LAW. THIS IS LOVE. THIS IS GOD.

Chelcedonian Christology diagram from Systematic Theology, second edition, by Wayne Grudem. Chapter 26: The Person of Christ.

How all-knowing is my God?

WISER THAN THE NATURE OF MAN

God is triune

Consider the Divinity AND Humanity of Jesus.
I am just so fascinated by my God! To me, the most surprising and perplexing of all paradoxes defining God’s sovereignty over creation is the person of Jesus Christ himself, born fully God AND fully man in one person. This means God is outside the world AND yet inside my soul.
My infinite God is bigger than I can fathom AND smaller than I can fathom.
How is it possible for one person to possess both a divine nature AND a human nature, a divine will AND a human will? This means to be limitless AND limited … to be infinite AND finite … to be everywhere present AND no longer in the world … to possess supreme power (omnipotent) AND to be weak and tired … to die AND to not die … to be tempted with evil, yet without sin AND to not be tempted with evil, since God cannot be tempted … to have limited knowledge AND to know all things (omniscient).
How is this possible?

And yet as BIG as my God is in the vast expanse of outer space, His infinity reaches down to the cellular level.

How gracious is my God?

MORE COMPASSIONATE THAN THE MOST PERFECT EARTHLY FATHER

God is love

Consider the Human Egg.
This tiny human egg cell has the power to produce life which God knits together in the Mother’s womb and numbers every hair on its precious head.
How awesome is my God!

The Multiplicity

OF LITTLE "G" GODS

We live in the kingdom of darkness where death is the reality. Healthy cells will be attacked, persecuted and taken down. There is no use getting mad or fearful about it.

God is bigger than DEI

IN MINNESOTA

Satan is a forger

The multiplicity is always just a repackaged version of the same. This is because Satan cannot create anything novel. He is confined to toil over the substance God has created. For instance, Satan can invade the healthy human cell so that its function and appearance are altered, but an unhealthy cell is still a cell. An unhealthy human body is still a body. An unhealthy state is still a state. An unhealthy earth is still an earth. In Satan’s kingdom of darkness though, the multiplicity of death looks the same at every level.

Minnesota Department of Education

EQUITY, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION CENTER

Satan can re-name Minnesota’s “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Center” to be “Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Center“, but really it’s all the same thing – a multiplicity of gods. In fact, DEI itself is simply a repackaged version of the same old ancient man-made gods.

Call it Diversity, Equity or Inclusion. Call it Open Borders, Climate Action or Gender Equality. Call it World Peace, Endless Empathy or Inclusive Religion.

The false gods of media are the false gods of state are the false god’s of religion.

This is my theory anyways, the reason being because Satan is a copycat. He has no original ideas of his own. He has not the power nor the wisdom nor the presence nor the hope that comes from God alone.

Dear Lord,

You are law. You are light. You are love.

You are sovereign, holy and triune.

May Thy kingdom of light come.

May Thy divine will be done

On earth As it is in heaven. Amen!

Up Next

Peace with self

As much as I have to say about the many counterfeits gods of my Triune God, I will abstain until the time is at hand. Peace With Self is up next, and I look forward to focusing on the third person of the Trinity – the Holy Spirit.

Make Straight Paths in 2026

The theme for 2026 is “Make Straight Paths” as a way for the believer to prepare his/her heart, soul, mind and strength for the second coming of Christ. We can know how to do this by following John the Baptist’s lead who baptized sinners in the water Jordan for the glory of God. We can trust that God will go before us to level high ground, open closed doors and cut through thick bars (Isaiah 45:2).
Moses divided the water with his staff at God’s instruction. As prophesied, John the Baptist prepared the way for the LORD at His first coming and in so doing divided the Old Testament from the New.
THIS IS A CALL TO ACTION. Lord, Forge Us With Fire As A Body Of Christ – The Church!
When you are one in Christ, your body is a temple of the living God. You are His house of prayer, His school of study, His place of assembly, and His center of military training. 1 John 4:1-4 tells us we are to learn the difference between His Spirit and the spirit of the antichrist who is now in the world. We are to test the allegiance of EVERY spirit and teach our children to do the same.
This series builds off all previous year themes in Jaime’s Illustrated Journal.
SUMMARY: Prior to 2024, the focus of my Journal (Blog) was primarily public school policy and election research. The very first article I published came just after losing my 2021 campaign for district 833 school board, Welcome To My Blog in 2022. We succeeded at defeating the bond referendum that year and, after the state election, I moved into a series about the Minnesota Achievement and Integration program (A&I) with The Transparency Series in 2023. Later that year, I ran for school board again, and the heartache of this second loss led me to write the Real or Fake series in 2024. I designed a survey called Chosen Pathways which served as an information gathering tool from SoWashCo families and jump started the idea of This Little School+House. Together with the Borders and Boundaries series of 2025, This Little School+House has set out to answer the question “What is education, actually?” I then helped launch a LifeWise Academy in South Washington County where we teach public school children the Gospel during school hours, and my current writing series follows through on a campaign promise I made to the LORD in 2023 – Make Straight Paths in 2026.
